TALLYCAT01: government work visas and youth worklessness
LOCAL REVIEW DRAFT: not published

PURPOSE AND LIMITS
This bounded bundle reproduces five original MoJ CSV checks and sums selected factual payment extracts for other departments. It does not reconstruct the exact reported all-government GBP5m / more-than-1500 basket or identify unique people, visas or jobs.
All selected rows carry their source filename/hash, original row or sheet/row locator, period, merchant/supplier and amount. Other source originals are linked, not bundled. MoJ/DWP checks use reporting-file periods, not assumed transaction dates. HMRC/combined-lawyer checks use actual posting dates5July2024 to31August2026. Preserve credits and repeated ODS rows. The corrected ODS extraction, not the initial repeated-row omission, governs these extracts.

REPEAT
Unzip to a new folder. With Python3, run recalculate.py. No packages or network calls are required. Alternatively open the CSVs in a spreadsheet reader, filter check_id and sum amount_gbp. Each check is separate; never add overlapping checks or convert rows into people. The five original CSVs are unchanged and hashes are verified by the script. Original source retrieval was16October2026; these are not verified claim-time archived bytes.

EXCLUDED
